Haemodracon riebeckii   -   Giant Socotran Leaf-toed Gecko  

Socotran endemic species. The largest reptile species on the island, can reach over 20 cm. Ground colour

from light to dark brown, sometimes greyish, with irregular blotches. Can be found on cliffs, rocks,

large boulders, caves, tree trunks. This species is widespread from the coastal areas to the higher altitudes.
