Pristurus abdelkuri   -   Abd-el-Kuri Semaphore Gecko

Socotran endemic species. A small sized species, less than 8 cm long, the body is light brown with grey

divided transverse bars, flanks with longitudinal dark stripes interrupted by light spots. Characteristic

black and yellow spots on the anterior part of the body. In Abd al Kuri island the species occurs in rocky

environments, in Socotra island it was observed also in sandy and gravel coasts and dunes with some

vegetation and debris.
