Pristurus insignoides   -   Haggier Gecko

Socotran endemic species. A medium size species, with maximum length up to around 14 cm, head long

and depressed, solid body and long tail. Dorsum greyish and very dark, flanks without regular dark stripes

and with 3-4 series of clearly larger light spots. The species occurs only around the Haggier Massif, it was

found on cliffs, rocks, but also in forest on trunks and branches, above 900 m asl.
