Pristurus sokotranus - Socotra Semaphore Gecko
Socotran endemic species. A small sized species,
less than 10 cm long, a light stripe more or less continuous along the flanks from the eye to the groin, or
with a broad light vertebral stripe along the back, throat spotted with dark markings. This gecko is the
most common species, widespread everywhere on the island from sea level to up 1400 m. Generally it was
found on ground but also on rocks and trees.
